Our first seminar/workshop presented by Ryan Pesch was an enormous success—indicating that our community has a strong desire to learn more about utilizing technology to create awareness online about businesses and organizations in the area. 42 participants attended the hands on workshop held at UMM’s Imholte Hall, making it one of the best attended offerings we have had! I have personally seen the results of the workshop--- and they range from businesses who couldn’t find their own page without help, now posting comments and pictures, to those who had some experience updating their pages to become very effective tools for showcasing their businesses.
At this time we have three more workshops set, with plans to offer more as the year progresses; Business Online (January), GPS (February) and Google U (March).
